About Venturi Water Services
At Venturi Water Services we cover all aspects of pressure testing, chlorination and sampling, as well as maintenance of existing pipework. Based in West Sussex, we have over 20 years of experience in the industry and can offer professional advice to ensure you have clean and serviceable drinking water.

PRESSURE TESTING
Ensuring a leak-free water service
Leaks can be expensive and with rising costs, it is essential that new mains and existing household supplies are watertight. Many homeowners are unaware that they are liable for any leak that is customer-side of the stopcock.
At Venturi Water Services we use water regulations guidance to pressure test your pipes of any material, which includes the mains fittings and joints.

Larger mains can be swabbed. This ensures any air or debris are removed before chlorination.
Once the pressure test is satisfactory, we will provide you with certification that it has passed.
CHLORINATION
Mains disinfection
Chlorination is a process which disinfects water, eliminating any harmful bacteria such as E-Coli and Legionella. All new mains require chlorination and sampling before they are connected to the existing water supply. Chlorination can be carried out in any environment, whether an external supply or an internal installation.
At Venturi Water Services we carry out chlorination procedures according to the Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI). Every water company has slightly differing requirements and so we ensure our procedures are compliant with your water supplier.
After chlorination the mains are flushed to remove all traces of chlorine and ensure residuals are normal. The main is then ready for sampling.

SAMPLING
Delivering wholesome drinking water
Water sampling is an essential aspect of monitoring your water supply to ensure it meets safe drinking standards. This applies to both new and existing mains.
Venturi Water Services offer a comprehensive sampling service whether it be standard samples or something more specific. If you have any concerns regarding bacteria such as Legionella or E-Coli, the clarity of your water (turbidity) or wanting to check chlorine or pH levels, contact us to carry out your sampling requirements.
All our samples are analysed at UKAS accredited laboratories. The results of your samples will be issued via a certificate from the laboratory.

MAINTENANCE
Repairs, upgrades and general maintenance
Venturi Water Services cover all areas of general maintenance including leak repairs on existing water supplies, steel and lead replacement services with new polypipes and current supply upgrades to increase water flow to your property. We can replace broken stopcocks and water meters, and undertake any general maintenance required on your water supply.
